Bidborough CC Golf Day, 27th September

Bidborough CC Golf Day, Friday 27th September at Dale Hill Golf Club

The re-arranged annual Bidborough Cricket Club golf day originally scheduled in June was unfortunately postponed due to lack of numbers. This CAN’T happen again otherwise the club will lose money therefore we need as much support for this day. For those of you who haven’t played Dale Hill its a lovely course (one of the best in the area), and we have got a fantastic deal for just £65 per person which includes Coffee and Bacon roll prior to tee-off. First tee from 9am. 18 holes of golf followed by a single course lunch.

Obituary – Norman Waller

Norman Waller

Sadly we report the passing on Sunday of vice-president, Norman Waller. Involved for the best part of 30 years with Bidborough Cricket Club, Norman was hugely popular. He led the 1993 Centenary Celebrations with great skill and enthusiasm. We will greatly miss his cheerful and positive outlook and are grateful for the cricketing dynasty he has bequethed the club.
